In 2006, Chai saw wild dolphins for the first time from the deck of a small boat off Koh Samui — and he knew he wanted every visitor to feel that same moment. That's how Dolphin Tour Samui began. Nearly two decades later, we're still a close-knit crew of local captains and guides who know these waters by heart. Departure times flex with the sea and the weather, because your safety and your chance of a real sighting always come first.

Long before we started running tours, local fishermen were already watching over these waters — and they still are. A portion of every booking goes back to the fishing community who help us track dolphin activity and protect their habitat. Looking further ahead, cleaner and more sustainable power for our boats is part of our long-term vision — something we're committed to pursuing once the right approvals and regulations are in place. The sea that gives us this livelihood deserves to be looked after in return.

When do dolphin tours depart?
Departure times flex with the sea and weather conditions — we confirm the exact time closer to your date so you get the safest window and best chance of a real sighting.
What's included in the price?
Inclusions vary by package (meals, transfers, snorkel gear). Message us on WhatsApp with the tour you're interested in and we'll confirm exactly what's included.
What languages do your guides speak?
Our guides are multilingual — let us know what you need when you book and we'll match you with the right guide.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Cancellations are handled case-by-case (weather, notice given, etc.) — message us on WhatsApp and we'll sort out the best option for you.
Are there age or health restrictions?
It depends on the tour and the boat — tell us about your group (children, pregnancy, mobility) when you enquire and we'll recommend the right option.
What if we don't see dolphins?
On the Dolphin Tour Samui package, if we don't spot dolphins, we refund you — no fine print.
